Your family's photos belong to your family.

Tucker Timothy turns the photos you already text into a printed book. You send them as they happen — no app, no uploading, no sitting down one evening in December to build the thing — and the book comes together as the year goes. Your photos are yours, so we would rather tell you plainly what happens to them than bury it in a document nobody reads.
There is no facial recognition in Tucker Timothy, no automatic identification of anyone in your photos, and no AI analysis of their content. When a book needs to know who is in a photo, you tell us. That takes a few minutes of your time, and we think the trade is worth it.
What we collect
Photos and messages you text us
When you text a photo or a message to your Tucker Timothy number, we store the image, the text you sent with it, the phone number it came from, and the time it arrived. That is the product.
We cannot see when a photo was taken. Mobile carriers strip that information out of pictures sent by text before they reach us. We only know when you sent it.
Account information
Your name, email address, phone number, the names you give us for the people in your family, and your delivery address when you order a book.
Payment information
Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record that a payment was made and what it was for.
What we do not collect
- Your contacts, your camera roll, or anything on your phone we were not texted.
- Your location.
- Biometric data of any kind, including faceprints.
- Anything from social media.
There is no Tucker Timothy app, so there is nothing installed on your phone that could collect anything in the background.
Children
Tucker Timothy is a service for parents and adults, not for children. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
Most of the photographs in Tucker Timothy are of children, and they are placed there by the adults responsible for them. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child, and we do not allow children to create accounts. If you believe a child has sent us something without an adult's involvement, email us and we will delete it.
If someone texts a photo to your number, we treat it as a contribution to your collection. You control what stays.
Who else touches your photos
A small number of services make Tucker Timothy work. Each one sees only what it needs to.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. Nobody buys access to your photographs. There is no advertising in Tucker Timothy and no plan to add any.
Text messages
Tucker Timothy works by text message. By texting our number, or by giving us your number and asking us to set up a collection, you agree to receive text messages from us about your collection and your books.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number, and the fact that you agreed to receive texts from us, stay with Tucker Timothy. We pass your number to our messaging carrier only so the message can be delivered to you, and to nobody else for any other reason.
Stopping messages does not delete your photos. If you want those removed, see below.
How long we keep things
Your photos stay until you delete them or close your account. That is deliberate: a family should be able to reprint their 2026 book in 2046 and get the same book back.
When you delete a memory it is removed from your collection immediately and permanently erased from our storage within 30 days. When you close your account we delete your photos, your messages and your account information within 30 days, apart from records of orders and payments, which we keep for seven years because tax law requires it.
A book already printed and shipped cannot be unprinted. Deleting a photo does not change a book that is already on your shelf.
What you can ask us to do
- Show you everything we hold about you.
- Send you a copy of your photos in a form you can take elsewhere.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and everything in it.
- Stop messaging you — reply STOP, or ask us.
Email kira@tuckertimothy.com and we will do it. We will not charge you, make it difficult, or ask why. Expect a reply within a few days and completion within 30.
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah or another state with its own privacy law, these rights are yours by statute and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Security
Your photos are stored with the providers listed above, which encrypt data in transit and at rest. Access to our systems is limited to the people who run Tucker Timothy.
One thing you should know rather than discover: image links are not guessable, but they are not password-protected either. Anyone who has the exact link to one of your photos can open it. We never publish those links, and we never give them out — but it means you should treat a link you share as something that stays shared.
If we ever have a breach that affects your information, we will tell you directly and promptly rather than quietly posting a notice.
Where we operate
Tucker Timothy is available in the United States only. Our systems and our printing partner operate in the United States and Europe, so your photos may be stored or processed in either.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email you before it takes effect. Minor corrections will be reflected in the date at the top.
